💜 Parent Partnership’s Mission

Parent Partnership engages parents, families and caregivers of those impacted by addiction through a network of support groups led by compassionate volunteers with lived experience. Weekly meetings provide access to expert resources and help navigating a healthier path forward for families.

🌎 Parent Partnership’s Vision

For families and caregivers touched by addiction to feel understood and supported.

Join with other parents, families and caregivers in a friendly and caring atmosphere to…

• find support if you aren’t sure if your loved one’s drinking or drug use is typical experimentation, or something you may need to address;

• connect with others whose loved ones have either struggled with substance use or addiction, or are currently in recovery;

• become informed, empowered and find resources and outside help when needed; or

• continue the “Conversation” after attending Be a Part of the Conversation events.

Meet our Parent Partnership Coordinator, Pam Roberts!

We are thrilled to introduce you (although many of you know her well) to our Parent Partnership Coordinator, Pam Roberts! Pam and her husband, Bill, have been friends to Be a Part of the Conversation since our inception in 2011. As a parent who understands the impact addiction can have on the entire family, Pam has been a vital connection to countless parents, grandparents and other caregivers throughout the Delaware Valley since 2006.

We recognized the need to provide guidance and collaboration to the growing network of support groups meeting regularly throughout our region, and there is no one better than Pam to serve in this important role, particularly at a time when Parent Partnership meetings are growing in some very exciting ways! 🙂

Parent Partnership meetings are facilitated by volunteers and are a branch of the nonprofit organization, Be a Part of the Conversation.
