She is currently a Behavioral Health Therapist at Ethos Treatment, LLC, where much of her time is spent seeing clients ages 14+ for individual therapy and facilitating an Evening Adult Mental Health IOP in their Philadelphia office. Kara was Communications Manager at Be a Part of the Conversation from 2020 to 2023.
“While working with the Be a Part of the Conversation team, I saw firsthand the impact that our programs had on parents, loved ones, and communities impacted by addiction. As a member of the Board, I look forward to supporting the existing and incredible work that this organization does on a daily basis, while working with the team to expand the reach of our programs and impact. When I moved on from the Communications Manager role to pursue my clinical career in counseling, I knew my relationship with Be a Part of the Conversation would not end… it would just evolve! I am incredibly grateful to continue to further this organization’s values and mission to equip families and communities with skills and resources to understand substance use, addiction, and related health issues.”
