IMPORTANT! Please read the following parameters of the Family Recovery Course:

  • This course is only intended for parents/guardians whose child (at any age) struggles with, or has struggled with, substance use disorder.

  • This course is not intended as professional development/education, nor is the course intended to prevent substance use.

  • A separate registration form must be completed for each participant in the Family Recovery Course (e.g., two spouses should each complete a separate form).

  • Participants must attend all three parts in order to fully benefit from the course.

  • Please check the venue location ahead of time to ensure prompt arrival.

  • The Family Recovery Course is led by peers with extensive experience supporting families. Trained instructors are not addiction counselors.

  • There is no charge to attend (although contributions are welcome).

  • Please note! Residents of counties that have funded the Family Recovery Course will be prioritized.

We appreciate those who wish to take the course in order to help another family; however, space is quite limited (maximum of 12 participants), therefore, those spaces need to be reserved for families seeking help for themselves. Letting another family know about this free course is an excellent way to support them.
