“I am honored to be a member of the board of directors for Be a Part of the Conversation.  Helping people recover from addiction and mental illness is my professional mission, but it is also deeply personal to me.  I am passionate about educating families and communities, supporting individuals in finding their own version of recovery, and helping them to find a life that is meaningful to them.  My personal mission is to combat stigma and build awareness that recovery is possible, while providing practical strategies to do so.  I am excited to engage the recovery community outside the scope of my clinical work as an addiction psychiatrist and reach families and individuals who need help on a personal level.”
