At Be a Part of the Conversation, we have been committed to helping families and communities understand substance use, addiction, and related health issues in Pennsylvania and beyond since 2011. Now, as our next step forward in serving our local communities, we are expanding our programming into Delaware with the support of the Sussex County Health Coalition.
We’re dedicated to equipping families with education, skills, and supportive spaces to explore the impact of substance use disorder on individuals and family systems. Our approach emphasizes connection, lived experience, and stigma reduction as essential components of healing.
Community Open House to Celebrate Delaware Expansion
To mark this expansion, we will host a community Open House on March 5, 2026, from 1:00–3:30 PM at the Innovation Hub in Georgetown, Delaware. The Open House is open to all members of the community, including parents, guardians, clinicians, policymakers, and community leaders, as well as anyone interested in learning more about substance use disorder, recovery, and family healing.

Supporting Families Affected by Substance Use Disorder
During the Open House, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about upcoming programs launching in Sussex County and available to folks across Delaware state, including the Family Recovery Course and Parent Partnership meetings. These offerings are designed to provide education, foster supportive connections, and help families navigate the complex realities of substance use disorder together.
The event will also provide space for conversation, questions, and community input, ensuring that future programming reflects the needs and strengths of Sussex County and Greater Delaware families.
A Community-Centered Approach to Recovery and Education
Be a Part of the Conversation’s expansion into Delaware reflects a shared commitment with the Sussex County Health Coalition to strengthen family-centered education and recovery supports across the region. By creating inclusive spaces for dialogue and learning, we strive to reduce stigma and empower families to move forward with greater understanding and resilience.
