Join with other parents in a friendly and caring atmosphere to…
• find support if you aren’t sure if your child’s drinking or drug use is typical experimentation, or something you may need to address;
• connect with other parents whose children have either struggled with substance use or addiction, or are currently in recovery;
• become informed, empowered and find resources and outside help when needed.
Come once, once in a while, or as often as you like.
Parent support meetings are taking place in a number of communities. Some have guest speakers, some present a special topic, and many are simply a place to come and share our experiences in order to give and receive support and understanding.
Parent meetings are not affiliated with Be a Part of the Conversation, except those identified as “Parent Partnership.”
